Lake Louise is just off the Icefields Parkway and is probably the most popular lake in the Canadian Rockies. This photo is of Fairview Mountain (9000 ft. elevation) and was taken from the shore of Lake Louise very early in the morning to capture the lake surface so still it is almost a perfect mirror.
There are many trails that lead around this beautiful lake that offer wonderful views of more of the mountains and glaciers in the Canadian Rockies.
