This interesting scene on the canyon bluffs was photographed at Canyonlands National Park in Utah. Canyonlands is an amazing Grand Canyon-like setting of eroded bluffs and other beautiful rock formations. The Green and Colorado rivers still run through this pristine area and can be seen from many locations around the park.
Arches National Park, just a few miles away, is another "must experience" national park if you're in the area!. Also, just a two hour drive to the East will take you to Mesa Verde National Park, the home of the 800 to 1000 year old Ancestral Cliff Dwellings (formerly know as Anasazi Cliff Dwellings).
