The Pelican Nebula

- The Pelican Nebula is a very large but dim nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It has formed the shape of the graceful maritime bird very near the bright star "Deneb", one of the brightest stars in the sky.
The Pelican is in the heart of the Milky Way and nestled up against another well known deep space object, "The North American Nebula".
