This high resolution photo was taken at Arches National Park in Utah. Arches is a wonderland of natural sandstone arches and other awe inspiring rock formations. Canyonlands, just a few miles away, is another "must experience" national park if you're in the area!. Also, just a two hour drive to the East will take you to Mesa Verde National Park, the home of the 800 to 1000 year old Ancestral Cliff Dwellings (formerly know as Anasazi Cliff Dwellings).
Our two weeks in the area were graced with varied and often dramatic cloud formations.
